With a background in art and archaeology from my Bachelor’s and first Master’s in History of Art, I specialized in cultural heritage preservation, particularly in conflict contexts. During my second Master’s in conservation-restoration, I developed a restoration protocol for ceramics damaged in war. My thesis examines bomb-induced damage on ceramics from the National Ceramic Museum in Sèvres and the MIC in Faenza, analyzing the effects of blast, shock, and fire on different materials. This research aims to improve restoration protocols, aiding professionals in efficiently sorting and restoring post-conflict debris.

PhD Student - University of Bologna; University of Helsinki

I hold a Bachelor’s in Anthropology, Religions, and Oriental Civilizations (2019) and a Master’s in Digital Humanities and Digital Knowledge (2022) from the University of Bologna, where I was also a Research Fellow (2022–2023). Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Cultural Heritage in the Digital Ecosystem while working as a teaching tutor for Basic Informatics and as a software developer at OpenCitations. My research focuses on automating metadata crosswalks for cultural heritage data using RDF and Semantic Web Technologies. I have developed Python plugins for OpenCitations to support data conversion and contribute to transforming tabular data into RDF for the CHANGES project.
